Judging process
The judging process has been reviewed to align with the department’s new structure.
The 2024 process is a multi-staged process involving the following steps:
- Nomination period.
- Principal endorsement period – principals endorse one nomination per category for their school which will move to the next round of judging.
- Regional Senior Directors endorse three nominations per category, per region that they oversee – these nominees become the regional finalists in that category.
- Deputy Chief Executive, Regional Services endorses regional and overall winners.
- Chief Executive approves all winners.
Each judge is provided with a judging scoresheet to assist in the assessment process and ensure the integrity of their selections.
